The Inventory Specialist will oversee asset inventory and preventative maintenance (PM) processes for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment at our Central Office - Indianapolis, IN. Responsibilities include onsite asset inventory, collaborating with vendors, and providing feedback to the organization. The role requires technical expertise in database applications and equipment management.

Responsibilities

Inventory Support:

• Perform onsite asset inventory and PM procedures at Medxcel-managed properties, complying with all regulations.
• Complete inventory for new spaces and guide local teams.
• Survey buildings for asset labeling accuracy; report findings to corporate and local directors.
• Work with maintenance technicians to identify equipment and locations.

Data Management and Training Support:

• Review data update requests in the database.
• Survey buildings for asset labeling accuracy; provide detailed findings and corrective actions.
• Maintain proficiency with CMS software and stay updated on system changes.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

• At least 3 years in facilities management required.
• 5+ years in healthcare setting preferred.
• Travel 70-80%, with overnight stays; remote work possible.
