Job summary

Benchmade Knife Company is seeking a Material Handling Technician to pull, pack, and prep finished goods for shipment on the production floor. This role also handles inventory replenishment, receiving, and cycle counts using Syspro MRP.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with MRP systems, and strong data-entry skills. PPE must be worn; safety and attendance are emphasized in this team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or enrollment in high school.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment (PPE: safety glasses, safety shoes, Kevlar gloves).
• Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory transactions.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull, pack and prepare finished goods for shipping.
• Refill product bins with incoming inventory; receive product into warehouse.
• Manage inventory electronically using Syspro MRP and other applications.
• Perform cycle counts of inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and safety practices.
• Provide excellent service to internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Report safety concerns and issues promptly.
