Job summary

Benchmade Knife Company, Inc. is seeking a Material Handling Technician I for a weekend, 3×12 hour shift schedule (Fri–Sun, 5:30 AM–6:00 PM). You will manage receiving, shipping, parts warehouse and driver tasks, handling inventory, cycles counts and safety procedures in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, verify loads, and support KPIs while maintaining a clean, compliant workspace and providing excellent internal customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 3–4 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with PPE and noise exposure.
• Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory transactions.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills with MS Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and time management.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory electronically using Syspro MRP and other apps.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory locations.
• Provide service to internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks and related equipment safely.
• Maintain equipment with pre-use inspections and lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Support reporting of key performance metrics.
• Contribute ideas to improve warehousing procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
