Job summary

Benchmade in Oregon City is seeking a Material Handling Technician I to join our production logistics team. This role focuses on shipping, receiving, and parts warehouse tasks as part of a four-position continuum, with emphasis on accurate counts, proper packing, and safe material movement.

As you progress to Tech II or III, you’ll handle more complex shipping, international and EDI workflows, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement ideas—while maintaining a safe, clean work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify counts of incoming/outgoing materials.
• Pack and prepare finished goods for shipping to customers.
• Move parts to required work centers and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate lift trucks and other material-handling equipment safely.
