Job summary

Benchmade, Inc. in Oregon City is seeking a Material Handling Technician on a weekend 3/12 shift to support Receiving, Shipping, Parts Warehouse, and Driver duties. You will verify counts, move inventory, and prepare products for shipment on a production floor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3–4 years of warehouse experience, familiarity with Syspro MRP, and strong data entry, communication, and teamwork skills. Forklift experience and safety compliance are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required with 3–4 years of shipping/warehouse experience.
• Familiarity with MRP systems and inventory transactions.
• Strong computer and data entry skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory electronically using Syspro MRP system and other computer applications.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock; records location of inventory.
• Perform cycle counts of inventory.
• Provides excellent service to customers (internal stakeholders) and vendors.
• Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to move parts and inventory to proper locations.
• Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; identify when lock out/tag out is appropriate.
• Display safety awareness and report safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support reporting of key performance metrics.
• Contribute ideas to improve warehousing procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
