Job summary

Kinetic Custom Trailers in Waco, TX is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and ERP transactions, ensuring smooth material flow to production. You will manage shipping/receiving, cycle counts, and collaborate with Production and Purchasing, while leading a small team and upholding safety and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

5+ years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with inventory management and inventory control.
Experience using an ERP system.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).
Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operation of the warehouse with guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor.
Organize warehouse layouts to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage areas.
Ensure materials are stored correctly and identified with proper labeling.
Develop and maintain warehouse standards and procedures.
Coordinate warehouse priorities with Production and Purchasing.
Own inventory accuracy across all inventory locations.
Complete regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes.
Maintain inventory integrity through accurate ERP transactions.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or overstock situations.
