Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Lead in the greater El Monte, CA area on an open-ended temporary basis. The role pays $25/hr and focuses on inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and safe warehouse operations.

You'll lead a team, coordinate receiving to shipping, maintain records in WMS, and implement best practices. Strong communication and forklift readiness are important for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse team members in daily operations and workflow management.
• Coordinate receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records in warehouse management systems.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper product storage practices.
• Train, coach, and assist warehouse associates on procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and customer service teams to resolve inventory and fulfillment issues.
• Track key performance metrics and provide regular inventory and operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
