Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a hardworking warehouse associate to manage and optimize the shipping workflow for picked orders, ensuring items are packed and processed on schedule. You will support planning, coordinate with the supervisor, and help enforce safety procedures across the team.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse. Training new staff and maintaining cross-functional coordination are also key duties.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire shipping process for picked orders ready to pack.
• Assist the department supervisor with daily planning and guide staff to complete Internet shipping mandates efficiently and on time.
• Handle department demands, deadlines, administrative duties, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Ensure team members follow proper procedures and enforce safety practices.
• Help achieve department productivity and quality goals.
• Assist with training and follow-up of new team members.
• Maintain cross-functional and interdepartmental communication.
• Direct and oversee Internet picking, sorting, packing, and processing to meet customer deadlines.
• Assist picking supervisors with navigating and prioritizing orders.
• Monitor systems and emails to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
