Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in the United States is seeking an Engineer to analyze data and design supply chain improvements using continuous improvement tools for current and future operations.

You will collect data, perform statistical analyses, map processes, develop standards, and establish KPI measures while collaborating across teams. A Lean Six Sigma mindset is valued, including 5S and 5 Whys; a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field is required, with 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in Industrial Engineering and/or related Masters Degree.
• Two (2) years or more related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis.
• Maps and documents processes; recommends continuous improvement opportunities.
• Supports design and implementation of SCS; collaborates to develop alternative solutions.
• Conducts transportation/logistics studies and/or time studies to develop standards.
• Establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPI) measures.
• Uses Lean Six Sigma tools (5S and 5 whys).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
