Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a trucking/delivery professional at the Dayton, NJ location. The role requires a Class A CDL, at least 18 years old, and a clean driving record for driving Trailers across the dock and yard operations.

The job includes pre-trip inspections, DOT-compliant trailer handling, and active communication with management to ensure efficiency and safety in daily line-hauls. OnTrac offers a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery.
• Class A CDL license is required.
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and background checks.
• Must be at least 18 years old, have a clean driving record, valid ID and pass TSA screening.
• Must be able to provide a 5- to 10-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment per the Company Safety Program.
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT compliance standards.
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor.
• Switch trailers as needed during the daily sort; hook up sets of trailers for line hauls leaving the facility.
• Clearly communicate trailer moves and numbers with operations management.

Pay: $28.10 Per hour

Shifts: Sunday - Tuesday from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM and Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Hours are subject to change based on the needs of the business.

The Must-Haves:
