Job summary

OnTrac, located in Logan Township, NJ, seeks qualified drivers to manage trailer movement and pre-trip inspections in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role requires a Class A CDL and at least one year of driving experience, with emphasis on safety and DOT compliance.

Shifts run Thursday to Saturday from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM. The position includes pre-employment screenings and a weekend differential incentive of $1.00/hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery.
• Basic English (spoken and written) to understand safety and operational instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment as per Company Safety Program.
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT standards.
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor.
• Switch trailers during the daily sort and hook up sets for line hauls.
• Communicate trailer moves and numbers clearly with operations management.

Pay: $29.10 per hour, plus a $1.00/hour weekend differential incentive

The Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both
• Minimum 1-year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery
• Class A CDL
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and background checks
• Must be at least 18 years old, possess a clean driving record, valid identification and be able to pass a TSA screening
• Must be able to provide a 5-year to 10-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) required for understanding safety and operational instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Correctly position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor
• Switching trailers as needed during the daily sort; hook up sets of trailers for line hauls leaving the facility
