Job summary

OnTrac in Bethel, PA is seeking a CDL Class A professional to join our team. The role pays $27.50 per hour and runs Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with hours subject to change based on business needs.

You will help maintain a safe work environment, perform pre-trip inspections, position trailers, switch them for line hauls, and coordinate moves with operations. OnTrac provides a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience, preferably with trailers.
• Class A CDL required.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings and background checks.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment as per the Safety Program.
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT standards.
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor.
• Switch trailers during daily sort and hook up sets for line hauls.
• Communicate trailer moves clearly with operations management.

The Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both

• Minimum 1-year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery

• Class A CDL

• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and background checks

• Must be at least 18 years old, possess a clean driving record, valid identification and be able to pass a TSA screening

• Must be able to provide a 5-year to 10-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

The Responsibilities:

• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment as outlined in the Company Safety Program

• Properly pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT compliance standards

• Correctly position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor

• Switching trailers as needed during the daily sort; hook up sets of trailers for line hauls leaving the facility

• Clearly communicate trailer moves and numbers with operations management
