Job summary

Penske is seeking a Warehouse Hiring Specialist to source, interview, and hire hourly warehouse workers for Penske Logistics Warehouse Operations. You will greet candidates by phone and guide them through a high-touch, end-to-end recruiting process from lead to offer. The role is based at our Reading, PA office with remote support across the U.S.

and Canada. Expect a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. schedule, four days in-office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution industry and/or prior warehouse recruiting experience is a plus.
• Experience in recruiting/calling and hiring warehouse workers is beneficial.
• Experience with interviewing and making hiring decisions, especially in a call center or customer-facing setting.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage warehouse leads via inbound/outbound calls, email, social media, resumes, and referrals.
• Present value proposition of Penske and discuss opportunities with candidates.
• Process applications and ensure accuracy in Penske systems (Oracle Recruiting Cloud).
• Conduct phone interviews and ensure candidates meet minimum qualifications.
• Coordinate scheduling (Meet & Greet) with location managers and operations staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state hiring laws and diversity initiatives.
