Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Reading, PA is seeking a Warehouse Hiring Specialist to source, interview, and hire hourly warehouse workers for Penske Logistics Warehouse Operations. You will be the voice of Penske, greeting candidates by phone and guiding them through a high-touch recruitment process in a call center environment.

Based at our Reading office with remote support across the United States and Canada, this office-first role requires four days in the office and a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting or hiring warehouse workers.
• Experience interviewing and hiring is highly preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365, Smartsheet, internet search, and social media.
• Ability to listen, type, and accurately capture information.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse distribution industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively source and manage warehouse leads via calls, email, social media, resume databases, and referrals.
• Present candidates with the value proposition and discuss opportunities.
• Engage candidates for future opportunities when not currently a fit.
• Take phone applications and capture information into Penske’s systems.
• Ensure all applications are complete and accurate; manage candidates in Oracle Recruiting Cloud.
• Conduct phone interviews and selections; ensure minimum qualifications are met.
• Hire against workforce planning and schedule Meet & Greet tours with managers.
• Ensure compliance with hiring laws and promote diversity and inclusion.
