Hy-Vee is seeking a Warehouse Generalist at the Lomar Distribution Center in Iowa. You will select and palletize merchandise for shipment, operate voice-automated selection and pick-to-light systems as needed, and ensure pallets are stable and properly wrapped.

The role requires routine, physical tasks and adherence to safety protocols. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with daily safety checks and equipment operation after certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must be able to operate pallet jacks and forklift after certification.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and to move heavier loads with assistance.

Responsabilités

• Select and stack merchandise on pallets for shipping.
• Palletize orders and ensure pallet stability with shrink-wrap.
• Operate voice-automated selection and pick-to-light systems as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Attend departmental and company meetings and report to supervisors.
