Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a warehouse associate in Grand Rapids, MI to hand build pallets for bulk and route truck loading. You will use a forklift or powered pallet jack, follow load sheets, and ensure accuracy and proper documentation for outgoing and incoming shipments.

The role involves lifting heavy cases daily, standing and moving for long periods, and working varied shifts based on workload. Prior warehouse experience is helpful, and safety and housekeeping are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
• Familiar with forklift operations and pallet jacks.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet or voice pick audio equipment (if applicable).
• Mark load ticket for out of stock items.
• Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished.
• Turn in paper work with order for check before loading and have truck checked.
• Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready.
• Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
