Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Rockford, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inbound freight, get products to the sales floor, and perform related duties. You will unload trailers, move freight to staging areas, operate a forklift, and help across departments while following Loss Prevention and safety policies.

The role requires good communication, willingness to work evenings and weekends, and the ability to pass a background check; full-time employment with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Able to work evenings and at least every other weekend.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming products from trailers in the dock area.
• Move freight to the staging area and departments.
• Use a forklift to move pallets and products.
• Transfer products from pallet to pallet as needed.
• Load product into customers' vehicles.
• Assist in other departments as assigned.
• Demonstrate awareness of Loss Prevention and safety policies.
