Job summary

Blain's Farm & Fleet in Rockford, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help with incoming freight and to ensure it reaches the sales floor. You will unload trailers, move freight to the staging area, operate a forklift, and support other departments as needed.

The role offers weekend premium pay of $2.50/hr on Saturdays and Sundays and base pay up to $16.00/hr. Benefits begin after 91 days of full-time employment, with holidays off and an employee discount program.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and clear interpersonal communication.
• Retail experience preferred, familiarity with store operations helpful.
• Evenings and every other weekend availability as needed.
• Ability to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving freight and ensure it reaches the sales floor.
• Unload incoming products from trailers in the dock area.
• Move freight to the staging area and use a forklift.
• Move and fill palletized products to various departments; load customers' vehicles.
• Support other departments as assigned and follow safety policies.
