Job summary

Heritage Pool Supply is hiring an Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in Frisco. You will supervise drivers and staff, manage dispatch, and ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries.

The role emphasizes safety, process optimization, and collaboration with the Branch Manager to support end-of-day reconciliation and continuous improvement initiatives across the branch.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College-level coursework considered advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
• Proven experience in operations management and warehouse/distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Coordinate dispatching of trucks to ensure timely deliveries and optimize routes with routing technology.
• Supervise loading/unloading processes to maintain accuracy and inventory integrity.
• Implement inventory controls, manage purchasing, cycle counts, pricing, and waste reduction.
• Lead safety audits and meetings to uphold company safety standards.
• Maintain equipment availability (tractors, trailers, forklifts) and ensure reliable operations.
• Track driver and warehouse staff hours to ensure proper labor utilization and compliance.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager on order processing, end-of-day balancing, and continuous improvement.
