Job summary

Almac Group seeks a 2nd Shift Warehouse Operative Grade 1 in Durham, NC to perform material handling, inventory control, and ensure efficient dispatch.

Responsibilities include picking, inventory verification, temperature monitor checks for shipping, forklift operation, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. Prior distribution experience and ERP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Experience with inventory systems and ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick material in preparation for dispatch to the customer.
• Perform inventory verifications and inventory movement.
• Conduct second checks on temperature monitor programs for shipping staff.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping to a high standard.

Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Operative Grade 1 for our Durham, NC location

The Warehouse Operative Grade 1 is responsible for carrying out all material handling and inventory control activities required within a standard computerized warehouse environment servicing a distribution operation.

2nd Shift 4pm-12:30am

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Pick material in preparation for dispatch to the customer.
• Inventory verifications/ Inventory movement.
• Perform second checks on temperature monitor programs for shipping staff.
• Competently operate forklifts, material handling equipment and company vehicles.
• Ensure that the warehouse is maintained to the highest possible standard of housekeeping.

Qualifications:

Required Experience / Education:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years in a distribution or warehouse environment

Preferred Experience / Education:

• Clinical Trials, pharma, biotech, or other regulated industry
• Working with a wireless inventory management system
• Computerized inventory systems
• ERP system(s)
