Job summary

ALMAC Group is seeking an Inventory Operator for our Souderton, PA location. The role covers cycle counts, reconciliations, inventory reporting, and related tasks to maintain accuracy and cGMP compliance.

The position supports internal processes and customer service standards, with a 3pm-11pm shift. Responsibilities include managing the Cycle Count Program, reviewing discrepancies, generating reports, processing sample requests, and handling order cancellations within COSMOS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years warehouse experience or 2 years at Almac Warehouse.
• Preferred pharmaceutical experience.
• Preferred warehouse experience.
• Preferred data entry experience.
• Preferred forklift experience.
• Preferred technical writing experience.
• PreferredMicrosoft Excel / spreadsheets experience.
• Working in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Control: Manage Cycle Count Program.
• Determine counting needs based on activity and trending.
• Provide reports and tools for counting.
• Review count sheets and identify discrepancies.
• Perform Inventory Discrepancy Reconciliation.
• Follow investigational steps to resolve discrepancies.
• Document discrepancies as Material Inquiries.
• Provide Inventory Reports through Discoverer.
• Generate monthly and quarterly reports.
• Run ad hoc reports for internal and external customers (Lot Age, Genealogies, Disposition).
• Operational Requests – Process Sample Requests: Conduct sampling per QC procedure.
• Ensure samples designated for QC are retrieved.
• Oversee Completion of Change Requests.
• Review Change Requests to determine department responsible.
• Assign tasks to personnel or complete them.
• Distribution Support – Product Retrieval: Identify material for shipment.
• Process Cancelled Orders and return material.
• Cancel orders within COSMOS and document.

Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a Inventory Operator for our Souderton, PA location. The Inventory Operator role encompasses key inventory functions including cycle counts, reconciliations, inventory reporting, operational requests such as material sampling, and returns to stock. While individual operators may specialize in specific areas, the position collectively ensures inventory accuracy, supports internal processes affecting inventory, and maintains high standards of customer service and cGMP compliance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Inventory Control

• Manage Cycle Count Program
• Determine counting needs based on activity and trending
• Provide reports and tools to the Inventory Operators for counting
• Review count sheets and identify discrepancies
• Perform Inventory Discrepancy Reconciliation
• Follow investigational steps outlined to resolve discrepancies
• Document discrepancies as Material Inquiries
• Provide Inventory Reports through Discoverer
• Generate reports according to monthly and quarterly schedules
• Run ad hoc reports for internal and external customers
  • Lot Age Reports, Lot Genealogies, Disposition Reports

Operational Requests – Process Sample Requests

• Conduct sampling activities following the QC sampling procedure
• Ensure samples designated for QC processing are being retrieved
• Oversee Completion of Change Requests
• Review Change Requests to determine department responsible
• Assign tasks to appropriate personnel or complete them as needed

Distribution Support – Product Retrieval

• Assist Warehouse Operators in identifying and relocating material required for shipment into available and accessible locations
• Process Cancelled Orders
• Physically repack and return material from cancelled orders
• Cancel orders within COSMOS and complete documentation
