Job summary

Almac Group is currently seeking a Sr. Distribution Technician for our Souderton, Pennsylvania location. The Sr. Distribution Technician is responsible for verifying and packing clinical site orders, including Ambient, Controlled room temperature, Cold Chain shipments.

Weekend shift is Friday–Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pm with a 15% shift differential. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years of distribution/warehouse experience. Hybrid work is available for applicable roles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years' experience in a distribution/warehouse environment or relevant job experience/education.

Responsibilities

• Pack customer orders according to protocols within Refrigerated (2-8C), Frozen (-20C) and Ambient (15-25C) conditions.
• Perform verification checks of documents and clinical material before distribution.
• Review documents for clarity, correctness, completeness and compliance.
• Generate UPS and FedEx shipper address labels.
• Interact with Quality, Distribution and Logistics to address quality issues.
• Understand and follow departmental SOPs.

Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a Sr. Distribution Technician for our Souderton, Pennsylvania location. The Sr. Distribution Technician is responsible for verifying and packing clinical site orders. Order processing is limited to the following types of shipments:

• Ambient


• Controlled room temperature


• Cold Chain

Weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm) With a 15% shift differential

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Pack customer orders based on customer specific protocols and their specific Distribution Instruction within Refrigerated (2-8C) Frozen (-20C) and Ambient (15-25C) conditions


• Perform verification checks of documents and clinical material prior to distribution from Almac Clinical Services


• Review documents for clarity, correctness, completeness and compliance


• Generate UPS and FedEx shipper address labels


• Interact with Quality, Distribution and Logistics personnel to address quality issues


• Possess a thorough understanding of departmental SOPs

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Required Work Experience

• 1+ years' experience in a distribution/warehouse environment or relevant job experience/education

Preferred experience:

• Pharmaceutical Experience


• Shipping Experience


• Data Entry Experience

• Ability to work in the cold room as required
