Job summary

CoolSys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems in Carol Stream, IL is seeking personnel to support facility safety, purchasing, and inventory control across warehouse operations. The role focuses on maintaining health and safety standards, ensuring secure stock, and running shifts with efficiency.

The position covers purchasing administration, vendor coordination, and tool/inventory management to meet project requirements, with opportunities available nationwide and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
• Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.
• Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, take responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.
• Responds to field communication, locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Administers on-line purchasing systems.
• Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Maintains records of goods ordered and received, log all rentals into the rental log and follow up with foreman on status.
• Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
• Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
• Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
• Responsible for tool inventory and control:
• Tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools
• Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.
• Perform other duties as assigned
