Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies (customs compliance, sanctions screening, embargoes, license requirements, product classifications, labeling, and safety standards).
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers to obtain rates, secure capacity, track shipments, manage transit times, and resolve exceptions.
  • Maintain accurate data in SAP systems; monitor shipment status, and KPI metrics (OTD, damage/loss).
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures for international logistics.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all warehouse and transportation safety policies.
Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP and proficiency in data analysis (Excel; SQL or similar a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage documentation and regulatory requirements for international shipments.
  • Excellent communication, and relationship-building skills; ability to coordinate across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Required Certifications:
