Job summary

Staples, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate material handling equipment and perform a variety of warehouse tasks across several areas including bulk handling, replenishment, receiving/putaway, returns, and shipping.

The role requires ability to lift 70–100 lbs, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain safe work practices. The position offers full-time opportunities with benefits and is based in the Staples Supply Chain facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If hired as Full-Time, must have ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick product up to 100 lbs and move within the warehouse.
• Conduct general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility as applicable.
• Assist with replenishment and receiving/putaway/returns tasks as needed.
• Organize, stack, shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets and load trucks manually.
