Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our World Class Supply Chain Team in New York. You will operate multiple roles from forklift to receiving, with safety as a priority and potential for growth.

Shifts are 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with opportunities in Bulk, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway, Returns, and Shipping. You must lift 70–100 lbs, pass a drug screen, and maintain basic English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• If hired as a Full-Time associate, able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety shoes and be able to walk/stand 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to pick and move products up to 100 lbs.
• Perform warehouse tasks across six areas: Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and accurate product handling is maintained.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address discrepancies and damages.
• unload trucks and palletize products as needed.
• Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders and assist with loading trucks.
