Job summary

Staples, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Associate to support six areas, including bulk/material handling, porter, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns, and shipping. You may rotate between roles as needed. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork in a fast-paced facility.

Typical shift is 11:00am-7:30pm, Monday–Friday with pay-for-performance incentives and benefits for full-time/part-time associates. Staples emphasizes a strong safety culture and reliable on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push or pull 70–100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick product up to 100 lbs and move within the warehouse following safety procedures.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks as needed.
• Unload trucks and palletize products; verify accuracy of items.
• Move product within the warehouse while maintaining safe practices.
• Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets.
• Keep work area clean and safe; cooperate with team to resolve issues.
