Job summary

Staples is seeking warehouse associates for a 12:00pm-8:30pm Monday-Friday shift in our Portland, OR location. Roles include Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Warehouse Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, and Shipping.

You may be moved between roles as needed to meet business demands. We offer a pay-for-performance model and a pay rate of $23.75/hour (includes $1.25/hour shift differential).

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours may be required.
• Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 and 100 pounds by hand.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move product up to 100 lbs within the warehouse, following safety procedures.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties as needed.
• Assist with receiving, putaway, and returns processes and resolve discrepancies or damages.
• Support shipping by organizing, stacking, and loading pallets while maintaining a clean workspace.
