Job summary

K&M Tire in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Warehouse Backup Driver. You will unload and load semi-trailers and route trucks, verify inventories, and place tires/products in designated locations while staying safe and efficient.

The position supports the warehouse team under the manager or lead, with potential for promotion, 401K with company match, tuition assistance, healthcare benefits after 90 days, paid time off and a referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Must meet minimum qualification of Route Driver Level I.
• Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailers and assist the loader for semi-trailers and route trucks.
• Verify, pull/pick, and put-away tires/products using equipment.
• Tires/products should be in designated locations with tags out and restocked as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Load multi-warehouse transfer trucks.
• Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.
• Support company goals and uphold K&M Values.
• Receive load through product number verification and check-in.
• Perform Amazon/Walmart pulling/picking and shipping.
• Load all route trucks.
