Job summary

K&M Tire is hiring for a Warehouse Backup Driver to unload/load trucks, pull and stock tires and products. The role requires safe operation of forklifts and other equipment, lifting up to 75 pounds, and maintaining organized warehouse spaces.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Must meet minimum qualification of Route Driver Level I.
• Capability to lift up to 75 pounds; 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in a non climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload semi-trailers and assist with loading railroad trucks.
• Use equipment daily to verify, pull/pick, and put-away tires/products.
• Maintain designated locations with proper tagging and restocking as needed.
• Operate safely using seat belts and order picker harnesses at all times.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized and load route trucks as required.
• Perform duties of Route Truck Driver I when needed.
• Support Warehouse Manager's decisions and company goals.
