Job summary

TFT Global Inc. in Lewisburg, TN is seeking an experienced automation engineer to lead warehouse modernization projects from concept through handover.

You will design, implement, and validate automation solutions including conveyors, AS/RS, AMRs/AGVs, and integrated control systems, collaborating with operations and IT/OT teams. Applicants should have a mechanical/electrical/mechatronics engineering background, hands-on automation delivery experience in warehouse environments, and travel

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or related field.
• Experience transforming manual operations to automation in warehouses/logistics.
• Hands-on automation project delivery in warehouse/distribution environments.
• Experience with conveyors, sortation, AS/RS, shuttle systems.
• Experience with robotics: palletizing/depalletizing, AMRs/AGVs.
• Knowledge of PLCs, WCS, and WMS integration.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new automation technologies for warehouse use.
• Design automation solutions for automotive parts environments.
• Lead end-to-end automation projects from concept to handover.
• Coordinate with operations, IT/OT, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, and maintenance docs.
• Lead vendor engagements and assess proposals and designs.
• Ensure safety and compliance with automotive requirements.
