Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and go-live of advanced automation in a new distribution facility in the Tampa area.

You will own automation projects from concept through commissioning, work closely with operations, engineering and vendor teams, and influence technology decisions with real, visible impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, robotics, or automation engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying and commissioning AMR systems such as Locus, Fetch, MiR, or similar.
• Experience with conveyor/sortation systems and warehouse material flow.
• Understanding of WMS and automation integration.
• Comfortable working on the warehouse floor during deployments and go-lives.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across engineering, operations, and vendor teams.

A rapidly growing organization is investing heavily in robotics and warehouse automation and is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to help lead the next generation of its distribution operations.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll own automation projects from design through deployment and go-live.
