Job summary

Austin Community College seeks a Mission Control Operator to monitor and analyze automated material handling systems in warehouses and distribution centers. You will document faults, generate reports, and communicate findings to IT, Mechatronics, and PLC teams to support continuous operation.

You will participate in 24/7 rotation coverage, train users, and help create training materials and system documentation to improve throughput and system availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Flow Systems (MFS).
• Ability to analyze system performance and generate actionable reports.
• Willingness to train users and create documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve issues in WMS/MFS.
• Escalate mechanical or logical issues to the right team.
• Train customers to improve system knowledge and reduce recurring issues.
• Create documentation and training materials for users and maintenance.
• Design and maintain daily operation reports for system performance.
• Provide analysis to improve throughput and system availability.
