Description

JSI Cabinetry is a leading United States kitchen and bath cabinetry supplier committed to fast delivery of the highest quality cabinetry. JSI operates distribution facilities in Fall River, Chicago, Atlanta, and Denver. Our expansive footprint is leveraged to service 2,500 of the finer kitchen and bath dealers in the United States with all-wood cabinets shipped as quickly as the next day.

We are currently hiring for multiple Warehouse Associates to join our team. Candidates must be able to work in a warehouse environment and complete tasks including but not limited to; order picking, shipping, janitorial tasks, receiving, packing, assembly, and other general warehouse duties.

Cabinet Assembler: These individuals are responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing cabinets according to standard operating procedure. This position involves using various tools, equipment and materials to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and the timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established procedures including using appropriate tools and hardware components to assemble cabinets.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain and clean tools, machinery, and work areas regularly to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members, including supervisors, and other assemblers, to ensure production deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating tools and machinery.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Additional certification or training in carpentry or cabinet making is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively and safely.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Should be able to lift up to 49lbs.
  • Punctuality and reliability is a must.
  • Safety shoes are required.

Warehouse Shipper: This position plays a pivotal role in facilitating the shipment of cabinets and related products to customers or distribution centers. This position involves various tasks related to preparing pallets of cabinets for shipping in an organized, timely, and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately organizing pallets of cabinets and related items according to specified guidelines for safe transportation.
  • Ensure proper labeling and documentation for outgoing shipments.
  • Conduct visual inspections on the pallets of cabinets before shrink wrapping to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Report any damages or discrepancies to the shipping lead.
  • Work collaboratively with the shipping team to load cabinets onto trucks or carriers.
  • Follow proper handling and loading procedures to ensure safe transport.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during packing and shipping activities to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the team lead and team members regarding shipping schedules and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience with material handling equipment (i.e., forklift) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or related environment is beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of palletizing practices and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently to meet shipment deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Be able to lift and move cabinets and packaging materials up to 49lbs.
  • Safety shoes are required.

*Specific duties and requirements may vary based on the employer and the production workload. Candidates must be willing to work in other departments in the warehouse as needed.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

Overtime when needed
