Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Personalized Customer Experience:

• Greet every customer with a friendly approach, read cues, match needs with service, and meet customers where they are.
• Share and enroll customers in the DSW Loyalty program.
• Answer questions about products and complete transactions via in-store sales or digital orders.

Maintain a Positive Shopping Environment:

• Keep the store neat, clean, and safe for customers and staff.
• Handle merchandise, including receiving freight, stocking, markdowns, and organizing the stockroom.

Leverage In-Store and Digital Services:

• Complete fulfillment tasks, including locating, inspecting, packaging, and labeling products.
• Use company tools to check product availability and assist customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Customer Transactions and Asset Protection:

• Process transactions accurately, follow policies, and partner with leadership for escalated issues.
• Follow security and asset protection policies.

Bring Fun and Energy:

• Participate in team meetings and training.
• Be receptive to coaching and demonstrate teamwork and inclusivity.

Required Skills:

• Availability to meet business needs.
• Professional, friendly, and customer-focused.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with technology (registers, devices, calculator).
• Ability to stand/walk up to 100% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly.

Experience:

• No prior retail experience required.
