Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Texas for a Sun-Thu 6:00pm - 3:00am shift (with up to 4 hours overtime). Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, preparation, and shipping of merchandise to customers in local and outlying areas.

The role requires operating forklifts and RF/Voice pick devices, and lifting 40–60 pounds repeatedly. Must safely handle merchandise, confirm quantities, load trucks, and follow vendor policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
• Bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods.
• Complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Operate a RF or Voice Pick device.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for 'reserve' to 'pick' slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and vendor policy compliance.
• Adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, 'Preferred Method Standard'.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Perform house keeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
