Job summary

Core-Mark International is hiring for an Order Selector on the night shift in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The role features a 4-day work week with shift hours from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM and overtime as needed.

Pay is $18.50 per hour, with days off on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday for a consistent schedule. Primary duties include selecting, packing, and moving products through the warehouse, maintaining inventory integrity, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Ability to work the scheduled times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
• Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Selects products in accordance with printed customer orders and delivery sequence.
• Consolidates merchandise into product containers and transfer to assigned locations.
• Directs extraneous inventory to its appropriate location.
• Ensures sufficient inventory to accommodate routine and/or special demands.
• Maintains orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Verifies and scan proper location of products.
• Monitors existing stock and transfer items where needed.
• Separates large units into pick quantities and shelve properly.
• Packs products securely in cartons and totes. Ensures application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number.
• Ensures safe and efficient movement and tracking of inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse.
• Maintains inventory integrity by adhering to system processes.
• Pulls orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Performs end of shift tasks such as: charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
• Maintains orderly workstation; return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Purpose:

Primary Responsibilities:

The Order Select packages items, and monitors inventory levels within the warehouse. Directs, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.
