Caterpillar is seeking a Warehouse Associate at the Clayton Distribution Center in Ohio. You will support parts distribution, sort items, build protective carriers for engines, and operate equipment where available.

Roles include safety, training, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The job offers different shifts starting at $19.01 per hour, with overtime opportunities, daily attendance expectations, and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset and PPE usage required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and building foundational warehouse skills within the first 24 months.
• Ability to read, write and conduct business in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping parts and supplies.
• Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
• Learn and operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes/hoists where available.
• Report defects and need for repairs.
• Build wooden shipping containers using pneumatic and power tools; apply paint and rust preventative.
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
