Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate at the Clayton Distribution Center in Clayton, OH. The role involves safe material handling, order processing with scanners, and operating various lift equipment as needed.

Night shift premium applies, with overtime opportunities based on business needs. Base wage starts at $19.01/hour with comprehensive benefits starting day 1, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and opportunities for growth within the Product Support

Qualifications

Safety PPE usage and procedures must be followed.
Demonstrated 12+ months at a previous job.
Experience with cherry/order picker, reach truck, or sit-down forklift is a plus.
Ability to read, write, and conduct business in English.

Responsibilities

Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts and materials.
Operate handheld scanner for receiving, counting and order processing.
Train to operate cherry/order picker, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes as needed.
Report defects and needed repairs.
Assemble wooden shipping containers and apply protective coatings.
Support general housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management.
