Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. in Clayton, OH is seeking Warehouse Associates at the Clayton Distribution Center to move parts from our distribution centers to customers and locations where they are needed. Qualifications
- Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work experience.
- Preferred experience operating cherry/order pickers, reach trucks or sit-down forklifts.
- Prior warehouse experience and reliability are important.
Responsibilities
- Safely perform material handling, receiving, storing, packing and shipping of parts and equipment.
- Operate handheld scanner for receiving and order processing.
- Be willing to train and operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts.
- Report defects and needed repairs.
- Build wooden shipping containers and apply protective coatings as needed.
- Maintain housekeeping and support other assigned duties.
