Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Warehouse Operations Associate to support fleet, logistics, and warehouse activities, ensuring timely product movement and service continuity in the Richmond area. You will maintain records, process routine requirements, monitor temperature‑sensitive materials, and coordinate material movement using warehouse equipment to ensure accuracy and traceability.

Education: High School Diploma/GED; CSCP preferred. Experience: Less than 2 years in warehouse support or related fields.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred
• Work Experience: Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Supports fleet, logistics, and warehouse operations activities to enable timely product movement, asset availability, and service continuity.
• Maintains operational records, transaction accuracy, and workflow adherence across transportation, storage, and shipment activities.
• Processes routine and moderately complex requirements within established guidelines to reduce disruption and sustain control of materials and vehicles.
• Addresses recurring operational exceptions and contributes to process enhancements that improve visibility and day-to-day effectiveness.
• Monitors temperature-sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to help preserve required conditions.
• Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control.
• Identifies on-hold, damaged, or non-conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures.
• Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow.
• Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.
• Escalates non-standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow-up.
