Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Riverside, MO site. You will operate forklifts, process orders, manage inventory, and support dock operations in a multi-temperature warehouse.

You’ll use RF scanners and VoCollect headsets to ensure accurate picking and packing of customer orders. This full-time, on-site role requires adaptability to freezer and cooler environments, teamwork, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift).
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
• Secure pallets for shipment and verify shipping documentation.
• Assist dock operations including staging and organizing shipments.
• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow FEFO procedures for food products.
