Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a warehouse associate for our temperature-controlled facility. You will move, pick, pack, and ship orders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and safety.Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, using RF scanners, and maintaining inventory with cycle counts.

The role requires experience with warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, and a forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
• Forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer (-5 °F to 38 °F).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Inspect shipments and verify order accuracy and product quality.
• Keep a clean, safe, organized work area per standards.
• Use warehouse tech (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders.
• Follow all sanitation and safety protocols (QIP).
• Use a headset to pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory.
• Follow FEFO procedures for food products.
