Job summary

Safe-Way Door in Nixa, Missouri is seeking a Warehouse Associate to keep our distribution center running smoothly. You’ll unload shipments, organize materials, and help prepare customer orders to move them out the door.

This active role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and safe operation of forklifts or pallet jacks. You’ll work with a team to ensure accuracy and maintain a clean, safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and related material handling equipment.
• Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload & Organize: Receive and organize materials transferred from our manufacturing facility; Safely unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Prepare Customer Orders: Load doors, track, hardware, springs, and openers onto customer vehicles; Verify quantities and inspect shipments for damage before loading.
• Inventory & Accuracy: Perform daily cycle counts and assist with annual inventory; Separate warehouse stock from customer-specific job materials; Complete paperwork accurately to ensure orders are staged correctly.
• Operate Warehouse Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment; Follow all warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
• Keep the Warehouse Running Smoothly: Maintain a clean, organized work area; Support teammates and a safety-first culture.
