Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations in a remote-capable role with occasional site work. The candidate will locate, move, and stage materials, maintain accurate inventory, and assist in receiving, shipping, and cycle counting tasks.

Responsibilities include using forklifts and data systems to track items, preparing shipments, and supporting production teams while adhering to safety policies. A high school diploma and OSHA forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent
• Math: add/subtract/multiply/divide, rates, ratios, percentages
• Reasoning: follow written/oral instructions, handle concrete variables
• Computer: knowledge of database, inventory, spreadsheet, word processing software

Responsibilities

• Review job requirements and determine items to move, gather or distribute
• Unload/pack shipments and verify contents
• Convey materials between receiving, production and storage areas
• Prepare inventory records and participate in cycle counts
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks and other power tools
• Ensure confidentiality of internal information
