Job summary

Mac Properties is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support maintenance operations across our portfolio. This hands-on role handles inventory auditing, PO management, and data accuracy, with a focus on maintaining organized, safe warehouse practices in a busy environment.

The position is full-time with benefits after 90 days, offering a $20/hour pay rate and opportunities to work with both physical inventory and system tracking. Location is Chicago, IL, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year warehouse, inventory, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills required (inventory systems, PO tracking, data entry).
• High attention to detail and accuracy in auditing and recordkeeping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Forklift experience/certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and distribute maintenance supplies and equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts and audits
• Process and manage purchase orders (POs) and verify documentation for accuracy
• Use computer systems to track inventory, audit usage, and update records
• Load and unload deliveries and prepare materials for field teams
• Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance
• Support urgent supply requests from maintenance teams
