Job summary

LINAK Scandinavia AB is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join our Louisville, KY operations. You will work closely with management to reach on-time delivery, quality, lean 6S, safety, and employee satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities include daily equipment inspections, order picking, packing, and auditing shipments, as well as loading outbound goods and receiving inbound materials. Responsibilities also cover using RF scanners, managing inventory, and following all safety and shipping

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with handheld scanning equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of domestic LTL/TL and export shipping is a plus.
• Familiarity with forklift and reach truck operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of powered equipment.
• Process orders using FIFO and RF scanning.
• Assist in packing, loading, and shipment auditing.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
• Follow DPW and SPW instructions as directed by management.
• Support warehouse functions including put-away and cycle counts.

The Warehouse Associate I will work closely with Management in order to achieve defined departmental goals of on time delivery, quality, lean 6s, safety, and employee satisfaction. The Warehouse Associate I will be responsible to ensure all shipments are completed daily including picking, packing, and auditing all sales orders, loading of outbound shipments, receiving, and material handling functions.

Primary job tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform required daily inspections of powered equipment.
• Apply First-In-First-Out method to all orders.
• Communicate Supervisor any discrepancies
• Complete daily 6S of assigned areas
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Additional duties as assigned by Management
• Follow all registered DPW and SPW instructions
• Be proficient in at least 5 core functions below:
  • Production Supply
    • Super Market Replenishment
    • Picking Work Orders
  • Receiving
    • Unloading Trucks
    • Processing inbound supplier Receipts in AX
    • Receiving inbound P/O's with the RF Scanner
    • Resolve Inbound Discrepancies
  • Shipping
    • All picking functions
    • All packing functions
    • Perform Load Audit
    • Load Trucks
  • Warehouse Functions
    • Put-away with Purpose
    • Inventory Cycle Counting
    • Certified on all equipment
    • All RF Gun Processes
    • All Daily Shuttle Responsibilities

The position will work in the support of and under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and must be capable of performing in a responsible and efficient manner the techniques and tasks that are assigned. Requirements include:

• Must be able to use all required equipment.
• Must have a high school diploma/GED.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, handheld scanning equipment, domestic LTL and TL shipping, export shipping requirements, and basic inventory skills is preferred.
• Individual must be goal oriented with a high degree of enthusiasm and focused on enhancing process quality
• Must be familiar with Forklifts and Reach truck operations.
• Must be familiar with the use of handheld barcode scanning equipment.
• Must have MS Word, Excel, and Personal Computer operation experience on a beginner level.
• Must be familiar with use of picking tickets, packing slips, BOL, and Export Documents.
