Job summary

LINAK Scandinavia AB in Louisville, USA, is hiring a Marketing Coordinator for Events and Visual Content. You will plan and execute trade shows, customer events, and marketing initiatives while coordinating with agencies, freelancers and vendors to deliver on-brand materials.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, plus experience in event coordination, design, and strong communication. Some travel and occasional evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience coordinating events, trade shows or large projects from planning through execution.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic graphic design and visual content creation experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
  • Willingness to travel 10-12 weeks per year
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the execution of industry trade shows, customer events, facility tours, and internal company events.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event plans, coordinating all pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities with SBU Marketing Consultants and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate event themes, booth design, layouts, displays, and attendee engagement activities that support business objectives and showcase products effectively.
  • Manage all event logistics, including registrations, travel, shipping, inventory, installation, dismantling, packing and unpacking crates, storage, vendor coordination, reservations, payments, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain visual marketing assets that align with brand standards.
  • Create graphics, advertisements, social media visuals, trade show signage, and digital content as needed.
  • Utilize AI-powered creative tools to improve efficiency and accelerate content development.
  • Coordinate graphic design projects with external agencies, freelancers, photographers, videographers, and production partners.
  • Review and approve creative deliverables to ensure brand consistency and quality according to our CVI.
  • Lead additional marketing projects and responsibilities as assigned.

The Marketing Coordinator – Events and Visual Content is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows, customer events, and marketing initiatives while managing the development of visual marketing assets. This role serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure marketing materials are delivered on time, on brand, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and project management skills with an eye for design and branding. They may create graphics directly, leverage AI-powered design tools, or coordinate external creative resources to produce high-quality visual content.

Major Responsibilities:

Tradeshow and event management

  • Coordinate the execution of industry trade shows, customer events, facility tours, and internal company events.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event plans, coordinating all pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities with SBU Marketing Consultants and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate event themes, booth design, layouts, displays, and attendee engagement activities that support business objectives and showcase products effectively.
  • Manage all event logistics, including registrations, travel, shipping, inventory, installation, dismantling, packing and unpacking crates, storage, vendor coordination, reservations, payments, and documentation.
  • Manage relationships with exhibit houses, agencies, printers, shipping providers, venues, and contractors to ensure successful event execution.
  • Research new exhibit concepts, attendee engagement strategies, competitors, and industry best practices to continually improve event effectiveness, ROI, and customer experience.
  • Track budgets, event performance metrics, and ROI, providing post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Support internal employee events and special projects in collaboration with HR, the Social Committee, and other cross-functional teams.

Visual Content & Graphics Management

  • Develop and maintain visual marketing assets that align with brand standards.
  • Create graphics, advertisements, social media visuals, trade show signage, and digital content as needed.
  • Utilize AI-powered creative tools to improve efficiency and accelerate content development.
  • Coordinate graphic design projects with external agencies, freelancers, photographers, videographers, and production partners.
  • Review and approve creative deliverables to ensure brand consistency and quality according to our CVI.
  • Maintain organized libraries of marketing assets, brand resources, and design templates.
  • Support photo and video content management for marketing campaigns and events.
  • Lead additional marketing projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience coordinating events, trade shows or large projects from planning through execution.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Basic graphic design and visual content creation experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Highly resourceful self-starter who works effectively independently and as a part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly in dynamic situations.
  • Technical aptitude and a comfort learning new marketing technologies and tools.
  • Reliable, accountable and able to follow through on commitments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10-12 weeks per year and work occasional evenings or weekends as events require.
  • Prefer experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design platforms.
  • Prefer experience working with vendors, agencies and external partners.
