Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. You will pull, load, unload, stack, wrap, count, and transport PBV products and materials while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and basic computer skills. We value teamwork, accuracy, and strong communication as you support internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to pass forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV Material Handling Equipment.
• At least six months of forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/Human Machine Interface skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Sorting and grouping skills.
• Must be able to read and understand product labels and load ticket instructions.
• Must be able to count large quantities of products and materials.
• Must be able to read/hear and understand procedures for performing work.
• Must be able to work in a non climate-controlled warehouse with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipped to customers.
• Performs check-in/check-out duties and maintains records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets).
• Counts goods returned to the plant and checks for damage or status.
• Interacts with automation systems to verify product records and build pallets.
• Identifies machine faults and troubleshoots system errors.
• Safely operates forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move products and materials.
• Performs safety checks on machinery.
• Maintains a clean, organized space and handles janitorial duties as needed.
• May perform yard switching and move trailers between areas.
• Adheres to GMP and food safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
