Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV Material Handling Equipment.
• At least six months of forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/HMI skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Sorting and grouping skills.
• Ability to read/understand product labels and load tickets.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipped to customers.
• Maintains records for each task (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets) according to SOPs.
• Counts goods returned from sales or delivery personnel.
• Safely operates yard switcher and trucks for loading/unloading.
• Interacts with automation systems and warehouse management tools to verify and record products.
• Identifies and troubleshoots machine faults and performs basic maintenance on automation systems.
• Operates warehouse equipment to store, stage, retrieve, replenish, load or unload products.
• Performs safety and pre-trip checks on equipment.
• Assists with janitorial tasks to maintain a clean workspace.
